Dr. Xuemin (Rosie) Zhang is a board certified ophthalmologist and fellowship-trained cataract, cornea and refractive surgeon. She received her medical degree from the University of Maryland School of Medicine. She completed residency training at the University of Maryland Medical Center where she served as chief resident. She then completed a subspecialty fellowship in cornea, cataract and refractive surgery at the Bascom Palmer Eye Institute, consistently ranked the #1 eye hospital by U.S. News and World Report. Following fellowship, Dr. Zhang joined the University of Arizona faculty as an Assistant Professor of Ophthalmology. She highly values the patient-doctor relationship. She is committed to providing excellent and personalized eye care to her patients.

Dr. Zhang is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery and Women In Ophthalmology. She has published multiple peer-reviewed articles in ophthalmology. She is fluent in English and Mandarin Chinese.
